WS websites - Review of WS Online Income Opportunity
by
devBLOG
on Sun 28 Nov 2004 10:26 AM PST
Read our review of the ws website online income opportunity.
Imagine being able to tell your friends and family a story. The one about how you stumbled across an online income opportunity that gave you that feeling of success that you always wanted. Contrary to the opinions of many, there is money to be made online. The problem is how to cut through all the hype and find a legitimate business that’s right for you. We’ve outlined what characteristics, tools and resources you should be looking for when considering an online income opportunity.
If you’re reading this, then you must have at least a passing interest and a desire to provide yourself residual income with a minimal amount of effort. For highly motivated folks, an online income opportunity should also be able to reward these go-getters with massive profits. Your goal is;……Find an online business opportunity that’s easy, fun and lucrative.
Most online income opportunity seekers fall into one of the following categories.
- Those who vision entrepreneurship or the desire to be their own boss.
- People who are currently employed and seeking additional income.
- Stay at home moms, dads and other caregivers.
- College students and retirees.
Tips For Choosing An Online Income Opportunity
Does the online income opportunity target a hungry market that’s deep? – Products and services should always be secondary to finding a market that has an itch that needs to be scratched. Once you uncover a market that has an itch, you put the product or service that scratches that itch in front of them. Then, confirm if the deep hungry market is easy to reach inexpensively. Lastly…here’s the secret that puts money in your picket. The market must be responsive, which means, they will spend their money to get what you have to offer. You’ll know who these prospects are. They’re the ones who have purchased products or services like yours before.
Is the hungry market a fad or a trend? – Remember the cigar market a few years back? It was literally on fire *no pun intended* and then poof, it just died. The cigar craze had fad written all over it. Why?...because any product that’s been around forever and suddenly becomes fashionable without anything to make it new, unique or scarce is bound to die out. Make sure the next big thing in any online income opportunity is a *long term* next big thing. Stay with markets that are expected to sustain growth.
WS online income opportunity fact: The number of Internet users is expected to hit 300 million by 2005. As internet use increases, so will domain name purchases, hosting accounts and websites. Currently, there are about 20,000 new registrations per day. The trend is your friend and the trend for Internet use is for continued expansion.
Are there promotional tools and resources available? – To market any online venture effectively you’ll need tools and resources to market the business efficiently and in real time. The newest technology makes the sales process automated 24/7. Autoresponders, sequential personalized emails, access to qualified leads, traffic statistics, a support staff and training are essential tools and the backbone to success, especially for entry level entrepreneurs.
Can you market the product offline? – This is the multi-million dollar mistake many online marketers make. Among other things, the Internet provides a marketing channel. But it’s by no means the only marketing channel for many products. Even if the delivery of the product is made online, that doesn’t mean it can’t be marketed offline. An online income opportunity that can be marketed from multiple media channels broadens your product’s exposure to its target market. The advantage of multi-channel targeted marketing is that it assures you your message is exposed to the widest range of interested prospects. Domain names and hosting are two examples of products that would qualify for a multi-channel marketing strategy.
WS online income opportunity fact: WS uses smart sequential autoresponders that not only sequence the sales messages, but also allows the data for any action taken by prospects to be tracked. Plus, all the contact information is captured and saved. Even the opt-out function is automated. This means you have a truly automated online selling process, which can also be combined with conventional marketing activities like post cards, sales letters, classified advertising and toll free numbers. Businesses that market products like domain names and web hosting are also attractive because they are deliverable online and that means you never handle any physical products.
Find out about the ws income opportunity facts for yourself Right Now.
Does the product have a unique value verses the competition? – What’s the USP *unique selling proposition* of the online income opportunity and its products? Ultimately, it must have something that totally separates it from the competition. Is it price, customer service, outstanding value, processes or systems? Cheap can mean low quality, expensive could mean low value. In competitive commodity type markets, the USP should be able to offer the highest possible value at the lowest possible price or a unique form of customer service, processes or systems.
Is there residual income? – Some of the most profitable products and services today thrive on residual income even though the entry point for consumers is inexpensive. Two examples are cell phones and PC printers. Every wireless carrier offers free phones because the real profits come from the residual income on the service contract. PC printers are dirt cheap. Why?....Because consumers will spend 3 to 5 times the price of the printer on ink cartridges. The cartridges are the back end residual income. Domain names, hosting, blogs and website maintenance accounts are a few examples of an online income opportunity that would generate recurring income.
WS online income opportunity fact: The USP of the ws income opportunity is the outstanding value received with the underlying product. With your new income opportunity you receive a domain name, web hosting and a professional turn-key website in addition to all the promotional tools, resources and support. All for 33 cents a day. Plus, as stated before, income is generated by the recurring monthly charges received from any affiliates that are brought on board through the automated sales process.
Do you own the product yourself? – You will be ultimately more credible and comfortable promoting a business that has a product that you also own yourself. If you were interested in the product or service yourself, then there’s a good chance that others would be interested too.
Who backs up the claims made for the product besides you? – Every online income opportunity looks great on paper, but ultimately, nothing beats quality testimonials from real people. By quality testimonials we mean testimonials that accurately restate the claims made in the unique selling proposition without a lot of hype. Another concern is the credibility and financial stability of company that’s promoting the underlying products and services. Your business will be much more credible if you’re promoting products or services backed by a financially stable accredited company.
What are the start up costs? and How fast can you start to make money? – The best deal you could hope for is a start-up business without risking any of your own capital. Any online income opportunity with zero start-up costs would become profitable as soon as you can recover your recurring monthly expenses.
WS online income opportunity fact: All ws income opportunity affiliates use the product and its services. The business is backed by a debt free, Inc. 500 company that’s endorsed by the Federal Chamber of Commerce and a member of the BBB. It takes only 5 affiliates to make this very profitable in a short period of time.
What’s the bottom line? – This is where the rubber meets the road. Given the facts, we can’t see a better time for any online income opportunity seeker, either rookie or veteran to dive in right now and have a real good shot at success because, with an in demand product in a growing market, promotional tools and resources to automate the sales process 24/7, a turnkey website with hosting, zero start-up costs and monthly recurring expense of ten dollars, we see it as a risk free and unique value for an income business opportunity and that means this should be easy, fun and lucrative. Don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself……..

ICANN New Domain Name Transfer Policy Change Now In Effect
by
devBLOG
on Thu 11 Nov 2004 07:11 PM PST
11/12/04...Beginning today, the new ICANN transfer policy goes into effect. The new ICANN transfer policy is being implemented because of widespread abuse by many registrars. They effectively hold their customer's domain names hostage by making it extremely difficult for disgruntled customers to transfer domains away from these companies.
No need to mention any names, but we'll give you a hint. The registrars that are whining like yapping poodles about your domains being hijacked are likely culprits.
Simply "lock" your domains to guard against unauthorized transfers and sleep like a baby knowing your domains are safe.
There has been widespread complaints from domain name owners who've experienced continued frustration in their attempts to transfer domains away from the overpriced or lousy services from their current registrars.
How do we know?...We've experienced it first hand. We've had dozens of transfer attempts blocked by these companies and all we are able to tell our prospective customers is, "We're sorry."
Domain registrations provide a guaranteed recurring income and the losing registrars don't give up that income without a fight, regardless of the effect on their customers. Hopefully these new changes will address the needs of the domain owners instead of the registrars.
If you're looking to transfer away from your current registrar, you should give us a look. Our domain transfers are competitively priced at $14.95 and include an additional year added to your current expiration date.

John Reese Traffic Secrets Confirms The Importance Of Page Titles
by
devBLOG
on Fri 29 Oct 2004 09:41 AM PDT
Hiya....
It's always kinda nice to find out you've been doin' at least one thing right and that "one thing" we've been doing is: Keyword optimizing our page titles. Every page!
I'm saying confirmed, because this was discussed (in depth) by some heavy hitters during John Reese's Traffic Secrets seminar.
Title tags are one of the most important factors for your web page's search engine positioning. It's estimated that between 30 and 50 percent of all web pages have the wrong page titles for their content or no title at all. What a waste of prime real estate.
We've posted a fresh page dealing with this issue and other keyword optimization tips and tools....Plus a free keyword density analyzer and a free meta tag analyzer. Stop by and check it out at: Keyword Optimization Tips
If you want to find out more about how John Reese Traffic Secrets will show you how to drive traffic to your website in ways you never thought possible...Click Here

Mickey Mantle Restaurant Saga (Update)
by
devBLOG
on Thu 28 Oct 2004 05:30 PM PDT
Sorry bout the lazy updat to this story It's old news now, but better late than never eh'. The owner of the Mickey Mantle Restaurant in NY suddenly backed off on his idea to temporarily rename the place after the former Red Sox hall of famer Ted Williams.
He said it was just a ruse and never really planned on doing it. Hmmm...cept now he's got a lot of Red Sox garb on his hands and a sign he had to take down. Sounds more like a hit and Run DMC to me. Can't beat free media coverage tho.

Mickey Mantle Restaurant is Ted Williams Restaurant (Almost), For Boston Red Sox Fans In NY
by
devBLOG
on Sun 24 Oct 2004 10:57 AM PDT
Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees, New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox. It’s the 800 pound gorilla of rivalries in all of sports and a restaurant owner “in NY” might have hit a home run because of it. The owner of the Mickey Mantle Restaurant will (temporarily) rename the themed eatery as Ted Williams Restaurant for the duration of the World Series.
“Holy Cow”…He’s covering the Mickey Mantle name with Ted Williams…For some New York Yankee fans and the Mickey Mantle family, that’s akin to turning from an American to a French citizen.
The owner of Mickey Mantle Restaurant claims that Mantle would’ve been so impressed by the Boston Red Sox victory that he just had to do it. (I’ve always been amused by people who claim to know what the deceased would’ve said or done.) How he knows Mantle wouldn’t have been so pissed, that he would’ve needed a rabies shot is beyond me; but you gotta give this guy credit for something. He’s pulled off one of the slickest marketing maneuvers since the guy that sent out women’s panties with his sales letter. (I’ll get to that goodie in a minute.)
Getting a week of free print, radio and TV coverage is nothing to sneeze at, unless of course you end up shooting yourself in the foot to get it. But regardless of the New York Yankee fan’s and the Mantle family’s initial shock, they’ll probably get over it once the World Series is over.
Think about it for a minute though, by throwing a bone to the underground army of Boston Red Sox fans living in NY, he can probably count on them as adoring repeat customers even after the World Series is over for giving them some recognition.
What about the Bomber fans? They’ll probably forget about this once the World Series is over and the name gets changed back. Most likely going back to satisfying a primal need…hunger! So, what’s the cost? I dunno, how much could it cost to cover a sign for ten days? I bet it’s a lot less than all the coverage he got. You just can’t beat free media attention. Anyway...
Oh Yeah…That panty guy? Well, he sent out pairs of women’s panties to his mailing list of potential guitar students with a smartly worded hook in his letter, “if you think it’s cool getting them mailed to you, wait till you get them thrown at you.” BTW…he also hijacked some media attention too, and the mailing? It worked…ya gotta love this marketing stuff.

Report from John Carlton's "License To Steal" Seminar
by
devBLOG
on Thu 14 Oct 2004 07:30 PM PDT
This should've been written Tuesday, but NY to Reno and back in three days is rough duty. Pile on two days of having your brain transfused with copywriting secrets from the likes of John Carlton and you'd know what I mean when I say I'm fried. I think the blood just started flowin' back into my fat head today, but enough about that...Let's get on with it.
This was my first world class seminar and I can't stress the energy I got from being around Carlton and the other attendees. JC set the stage for learning when he announced that egos were to be left at the door. I felt comfortable even though I was surrounded by some of the major "players" in the business.
The uniqueness of this gathering was twofold...first, there was no upsellling of any other products or services. Second, the format of the thing was unique in that there was no vagueness in the procedures that Carlton used to achieve the lofty success he's quietly become famous for.
Learning his copywriting prowess was accomplished by having some of his best letters deconstructed line by line, sentence by sentence and bullet by bullet. Every nuance was analyzed, including the emotional trigger mechanisms used and even the choice of fonts and page formatting...Priceless
He said he'll never do another one of these because they're just "too damn hard to do." Maybe another 32 people will get lucky if he ever decides to change his mind and do this type of gig again. Keep your fingers crossed...

Britney Spears Makes Joe Vitale Curious
by
devBLOG
on Sun 03 Oct 2004 09:40 AM PDT
Imagine seeing images that make a product just click subconsciously in the back of your mind and motivate you to take action. It’s a marketer’s dream. Well it takes one to know one and Joe Vitale sez that’s exactly what Elizabeth Arden’s new commercial for Britney Spears “Curious” perfume does.
The Britney Spears "Curious" commercial features the curvaceous diva as the "biscuit" in a smorgasbord of sexual desire, anticipation and innuendo.
Joe Vitale, President of Hypnotic Marketing Inc. is the author of hundreds of books and articles and an expert in the field of “hypnotic writing.” He’s made a living promoting products and services by painting vivid images with the written word.
Vitale sez her new ad, “Plays on sexuality, mystery and curiosity” and that, “Unless her perfume truly stinks, people are going to buy it almost mindlessly.”
Subliminal advertising is forbidden fruit as far as the FCC is concerned and research has shown that it’s not as successful as James Vicary’s movie theater test led people to believe.
We’ve all seen the Goodyear blimp lumbering overhead at sporting events and it doesn’t exactly motivate us to stampede to the local tire store to slap on a set of new radial tires, but tell a story and invoke images that stir up emotions like curiosity, greed or passion and you can see advertisers pushing the envelope on deception. Vitale goes on to say
“Anything that can get a message into your mind will be tried by advertisers” and also asks “When is it manipulation and when is it persuasion”?
Joe Vitale does a series of free webcasts about hypnotic persuasion in marketing and copywriting. He doesn’t mind the media attention surrounding his comments and I’m sure the Britney Spears commercial will be one of the topics of discussion on his next show Oct. 12th You’ll listen in for free when you go here: http://www.NitroWebcasts.com/g.o/apogee515

Scott Muni-He'll be missed and remembered
by
devBLOG
on Wed 29 Sep 2004 08:15 PM PDT
Scott Muni died yesterday. He was 74. Anyone who "cut their teeth" about life, love and rock n' roll around the NYC area in the decade between 65' and 75' feels a little bit empty today.
Although there was Vietnam, the gas crisis (I remember having to walk to school in the dark) and the Nixon resignation, there was a certain innocense about that time that I think we'll never feel again.
We had no worries about AIDS, terrorism, global warming, toxic mold, mad cow disease-yadda yadda yadda. WE were loose, carefree and we loved our music. You probably have at least one memory of drivin' around in your dad's Chevy, packed with your friends singing along to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody or hangin in your bedroom with a black light on and zoning out to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.
You would turn on WNEW FM and there he was, the "professor"...Scott Muni. He was 20 to 30 years older than most of us, but he was like that "cool" dad you wish you had.
He played our music and understood what we wanted outta life. Let us do our thing as long as we didn't hurt anybody else (including ourselves).
Those days are done. We'll miss the man with the scruffy voice yakkin' about his knowledge of music, giving us direction and playin' our songs. We'll always remember him.

Is There A Google Web Browser Brewin?
by
devBLOG
on Thu 23 Sep 2004 08:12 PM PDT
Google registered the domain name gbrowser.com in April, 2004. Some forward thinking “amigos” are speculating a Google web browser might be in the works, or maybe “pasted” to some white board as a list of possible future products.
Speculation is good. It’s what keeps markets liquid and ideas flowing, so let’s take a poke at the possibility of a Google browser.
Microsoft is expert at “steal and deliver.” At one point Netscape controlled most of the web browser market. Microsoft saw the explosion of the internet and was determined to take part in the fun. Today, Netscape is barely hangin’ onto a tiny piece of the browser market. Microsoft “put a fork in em.”
Heck, Microsoft seems to arrive at the prom late, but they always get to leave the party with the prom queen. Is that luck, stealth piracy, or a very strategic business plan?
There’s no secret that Microsoft has seen enough with the search engine market to know that they’re leaving big money on the table if they just sit on the sidelines as Google continues to increase its dominance. With PPC, there’s a huge revenue stream for search engine companies. Their search engine is almost ready for prime time. So what’s this have to do with speculation on a Google browser?
Google might be thinking this through in political terms. Not Politics per se`, but political campaign marketing. One of the most effective political strategies is to tap into your competitor’s base and make them fight to retain what was easily theirs by default. Forcing them to devote resources to shore up their base instead of trying to “steal and deliver” on the competition’s turf.
Google is now flush with cash and should be looking to expand its markets. Netscape is proof that you can’t survive as a “one trick pony.” Even AOL couldn’t save it. Is this a good place to start?...Maybe, maybe not…One thing is for sure, wherever they attempt to take on Microsoft, it should be fun to watch.

John Carlton..."Double-Secret" Weapon For The Average Joe
by
devBLOG
on Sat 18 Sep 2004 12:14 PM PDT
Hey…Have any of you guys/gals come across someone/anyone that really blows you away to the point you just can’t keep your yap shut about them? Sure there are talented folks out there… Some are extremely talented and dominate their respective fields. Entrepreneurs, athletes, celebrities, politicians and yes, even marketing “gurus.”
How many of them are be able to take a world-class act and repackage it to mentor a green-as-frog rookie?.....You’ve seen it before, unbelievably talented people that just can’t teach. They’re great at what they do, but they can’t duplicate their thought process and project that aura in a teaching environment; At least not to the point where the student is fully able to grasp it in the same way as the mentor. Sometimes lousy athletes make great coaches and great athletes can’t coach to save their life…..Know what I mean?
I think I found us a great copywriting/marketing “player” that can coach……John Carlton. He’s billed as a world-class copywriter hell-bent on being a marketing rebel and an industry “secret weapon.” Take 10 minutes outta your frenzied life and just cat-scan his newsletter “the Marketing Rebel Rant.” You can get the first 11 issues free at www.marketingrebelrant.com
I guarantee you your brain will explode as you magically absorb his mindset. You’ll experience 20 different emotions from euphoria to bein so pissed off at yourself for being a dumb-ass, you’ll think you’re gonna need a rabies shot. In Issue 1, Volume 1 your first assignment is to “put the 8 page newsletter down and go find something fun to do for five minutes.” That’s lesson #1. If you can’t come up with something “fun” to do for “five’ minutes, it will open your eyes to the fact that your life is “on the fritz.”….Yours truly failed Lesson #1 miserably.
He takes you on a wild ride as he mixes industry smarts with a “streetwise” mentality about life, love and achieving wealth that the “average joe” can relate to. There’s no rah rah “headshrinker horsesh#t” about getting motivated or whining about the cards you’ve been dealt in life. He won’t blow sunshine up your butt when you’re screwin’ up and he’ll “cyber-slap” you right in the head if you think you’ve conquered the universe.
Just take his medicine for starting, running and maintaining a successful business with his attitude about achieving success, facing failure and pluggin’ the holes in life that mess most of us up. Don’t be afraid. The pain of finding out the truth will help cure the “anti-success” disease that paralyzes us into doing nothing. You’ll be saying to yourself, “holy sh#t he’s right, I’ve done that, I’ve neglected to do that, I’ve let other people unnecessarily influence me about that. Go ahead, check it out and then whack yourself with a rolled up newspaper, I did!
Tip of the day: What God gave us in mind and body, nature slowly takes away…Use-it-or lose-it.

Blogs and Bloggers...The New Wave of Interactive Media
by
devBLOG
on Sat 18 Sep 2004 02:01 PM EDT
It's a somewhat typical fall afternoon here in NY. What's left of 'killer" huricane Ivan is lazily passing through. I'm checkin' out some of the college football games and trying to clean up the yard around this "chicken coop" house in between the downpours, but some very untypical winds a swirling around right now.
The firestorm created this week by from the "memogate" controversy at CBS is a shot across the bow for the mainstream media.
Whether it's from the right or the left, what the media reports is no longer like "a street in the Bronx...One Way." They should expect and prepare to be challenged on what is dispensed as newsworthy and accurate or risk exstinction. Blogs and bloggers have come full circle and made the news media interactive, whether they like it or not.
The media can bang their heads against the wall, kick and scream all they want, but if they don't adapt to blogs and the new wave of interactive media, it's gonna get even uglier. Blogs are the "gum under their shoe."
How the heck did all this happen?
Blogs were once considered the "web toy" of techno-geeks until the cat got outta the bag. In reality they're one of the most non-technical tools on the web. Unlike a standard website, you can literally have a blog up and running in minutes and your monthly "nut" is about the price of a Big Mac.
The Benefits a clear
> Blogs are easy to use...If you can send an email, then you can publish a blog.
> Blogs have a simple structure. Users can add content from any web browser 24/7, including pictures and links.
> Blogs generate XML data. RSS (real simple syndication) feeds will circulate the content whenever it's updated.
> Search engines spiders feed on good updated content..
Blogs will someday outnumber websites
In today's rushed "I gotta go, my car is running" society, everbody wants things quick, easy and cheap so they can move on to the other 37 things on their daily agenda. Blogs are the "fast food" of interactive media. Love em' or hate em'...but blogs are here to stay.

John Reese...Traffic Secrets
by
devBLOG
on Fri 27 Aug 2004 08:27 PM PDT
As promised, some feedback..........First, unless you've got absolutley nothing going on, your not gonna get through this course in a week. It's an ultra-detailed presciption for slowly and systematically building targeted traffic. Implementing the bonanza of procedures alone just ain't gonna happen overnight.
If you're not willing to put a lot of effort into research of your target market, then you're not going to reap the benefits.
Businesses like devNIC's that market commodity type products and services like domain names, need to establish co-competitors.......Hmmmm......have I lost my marbles?
Most of the traffic to your site, even if targeted will not buy from you for a number of reasons. Could be price, selection, your layout or whatever. My personal "pet peeve" is any site with a political agenda....Sorry, but it just annoys the hell outta me.
Some sites try and upsell with still more low margin commodity type products and services. Even these "upsell" products will eventually become victims of continued price cutting.
The adult industry has taken the baton with with this co-competitor online business model by co-promoting each other's sites. In effect, they pass the targeted traffic around to their competitors, even the ones with similar content.
This looks like the only way to protect already low margins in non-niche markets.

by
devBLOG
on Fri 20 Aug 2004 09:28 PM EDT
And an expensive week it was.....The first batter up to the plate was the copywriting "secret weapon," John Carlton.......
He's been consistently and quietly upstaging the "so called" experts for 20 years. I'm a subscriber to his copywriting secrets course and the Marketing Rebel Rant newsletter...and they're nothing short of amazing......
When he sent word of his October, "License to Steal" copywrting seminar in Reno........I was in.......It's gonna be one of the most talked about seminars in a long time.......
For 2 days we'll get to have his 5 "best ever" ads broken down to discover every psychological nuance and emotional trigger used to hog-tie your prospects into submission......and the best part?............We get copyrights to the ads!............
I'll keep you posted........
Next up........John Reese......He's quietly become one of the most, if not the most successful Internet marketers out there. His new traffic secrets course created such a buzz, he had people salivating over its release......I was one of em'
A pro at over-delivering, John sent word today that anyone who purchased within the first 18 Hrs gets an additional 10K worth of goodies and that ain't bad for a 1K investment.
John promised to "tell all" about how he generated such a frenzy over his new course. That alone should be worth the cost of admission.......
I'll be leaving feedback on John's Traffic Secrets course as soon as I plow through it..........

Google IPO Hits The Street
by
devBLOG
on Thu 19 Aug 2004 07:29 PM EDT
Google closed today at $100.33 and with an offering price of $85 a share, it looked to be a successful IPO, but were there other forces at work here?
They underallocated investors to the tune of 26%, creating a liittle bit of a supply and demand problem, but put happy faces on the investors that were able to get in........
I was personally impressed by Google's desire to use a "Dutch Auction" to try and trump the Wall Street "Old Boy" network from snagging most of the IPO shares for its biggest clients.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the coming months. The shares are now in the open market and subject to supply and demand factors, investor expectations and the Wall Street analysts. _________________ Rick Contrata http://www.DevNIC.com Domain Name Registration, Web Hosting, Articles, Tutorials Internet Business Resource Directory.
